About Spirit

Spirit Torino is Italy's leading manufacturer of high-fidelity headphones. The company was co-founded in 2018 by Andrea Ricci together with the holding company Drifter. Spirit's philosophy is rooted in the character of the two cities where it was born: Turin, where the production site is located, with its industrial and technological culture, and Milan, where the company is based, with its focus on style and design. Two souls that come together in Made in Italy as a search for taste, great culture and well-made products that outlast fads.

Andrea Ricci, an engineer with a passion for music, began collaborating with high-fidelity shops in Turin in his early twenties. When the first commercial headphones became available, Andrea proposed the first modifications, exploring the potential of different technologies. With the birth of Spirit, innovation grew at an exponential rate. The Twin Pulse Isobaric System® was created to build a motor with exceptional characteristics, the first headphone in the world to feature the Passive Radiator®, and more recently, the Ventilation Pad System 4.0.

Drifter is the family office founded in 2018 by Italian investor Andy Bianchedi together with his mother Hillary Merkus Recordati. Based in Milan, it operates through a team of specialists and managers. Drifter invests in innovative, high-impact companies in the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnology and Made in Italy. Active in philanthropy, Andy Bianchedi supports projects in the arts, environmental protection and education.
